"It defies logic that Mike Baird and I can run for office and be subject to strict caps, while at the same time you can run for a ward of a suburban council without any limits on what you can raise and spend."

-Luke Foley, NSW Leader of the Opposition

Yesterday former Lord Mayor of Newcastle, Jeff McCloy, lost his High Court challenge to allow political donations from property developers and remove caps on donations. This was a huge win for the people of NSW.

Luke Foley has called on the NSW Government to act now to immediately extend the caps on donations and spending to local government elections in the interests of integrity and transparency.

We need your support to send a Message to Mike Baird. The NSW Parliament should act now to address these fundamental matters of integrity and transparency.
